Did you know the presence of a working smoke detector can increase the safety of your family by more than 50%?

For such a small thing that really makes it one of the most valuable things in your home.

We have included some great tips to help you maintain your smoke detectors and protect your family and pets! 

1. Test your unit monthly. Better safe than sorry!

2. Install new batteries immediately when the low battery warning sounds or at a minimum twice a year. 

3. Clean your smoke alarms regularly by vacuuming them with a brush attachement.

4. Replace smoke alarms at a minimum of every 10 years.  Technology gets better and better!
